DAYS 1-2

Day 1

At 12:00 meet with your guide at Rica Arctic or Thon Hotel. Please only bring a small bag, your main luggage can be stored at your hotel. Short drive to a husky farm, where we start by sealing up our own husky team. Explore one of Europe's last wilderness during the approximately 30 kilometres long dog sledging trip. We follow partly the same tracks as the famous Finnmark's dog race. En route we stop to feed our dogs, and also ourselves. At around 17:00 we will arrive at the Namdalen Wilderness Lodge. Here you can enjoy the silence, with no traffic or other noise pollution. Once we have arrived we seal off the huskies, and feed them. By then the dogs are ready to sleep. Everyone is responsible for their own husky team. For dinner you will enjoy a king crab meal - the catch of the day, and there is a lot to eat! There is a warm sauna for you to use. You will then stay overnight in cosy small rooms at the camp.

Day 2

Early in the morning we start the day by feeding the huskies, and everyone takes care of their own team. After the dogs have had their breakfast, we will enjoy our own breakfast. Now the Husky team will be ready for the return trip which ends at the Kirkenes Snowhotel, constructed entirely from snow and ice each year. On arrival, lunch is served at the Gabba Restaurant, located in an adjoining building. After lunch you will be transfered back to your hotel in Kirkenes.

• Included: Winter clothing, 2 persons sharing a sledge, overnight in camp (in cosy small rooms, no shower), sauna, king crab meal, breakfast, soft drinks, lunch at Gabba Restaurant, transfer to Kirkenes Snow hotel.
• Important: Good physical conditions, min. 18 years old, travel insurance required .
